Although the Aku Shaper is arguably the most reliable shaping technology on the market, it is our aim to ensure that every customer enjoys a completely hassle-free experience from their new machine package. Poorly maintained or understood machines will damage our reputation, so we avoid this.

 

All software and mechanical problems that incur with the machine within the first year will be replaced at no charge and, if necessary, we will come to your factory again to make sure everything is working properly. This does not cover any human error that leads to necessary part replacement. (Note: Both scaniros, mechanical failure due to faulty parts or human error, are very rare.)


The Aku Shaper is uniquely low maintenance and hassle free. Our test machine has been operational for 5+ years and basically hasn't missed a beat at 100 - 250 surfboards per week. So far our experience covers over 40,000+ surfboards on the machine.
  1. The Aku Shaper has been designed to be user friendly and easy to maintain.
  2. We support and establish internet diagnosis and conferencing for problems and troubleshooting free of charge for the first year. You will never feel alone and you can easily show us what is happening.
  3. For convenience each machine will come with those basic spare parts most likely to be needed.
  4. The controller hardware/software has inbuilt diagnostic for problem and troubleshooting, the individual parts for each axis are interchangeable which helps diagnostic and trouble shooting.
  5. The controller can be "Flash upgraded"
  6. Most parts are available worldwide, we will assist with this.
  7. There will be continuous software updates. As new features are developed and tested, they will be made available to software users at no extra charge for the first two years.
  8. Setup, squaring and calibrating procedures are part of the training. You will well understand how the Aku Shaper works and how to maintain it's performance. The rest is simply a "plug and play" scenario that doesn't require engineering/mechanical skills to become operational.
